October Updates
At the October Town Meeting Kate and Jenn spoke on behalf of Article 9, supporting PickleBall Courts, while also calling for town boards to appreciate the need for our town to have a fully staffed recreation department and town led programming. Watch our statements here!
Over the course of September, Kate was put in contact with Nick at Sports Zone. Many people may remember programming from Sports Zone pre-COVID, and that it was never reinstated post-COVID. After a brief phone call, Kate facilitated a meeting between Nick and the Town Staff to reinstate the previous programming. Kate recently heard an update that the town is actively working to reinstate this programming, currently working out the where, the when and the how. The anticipated programming start will be this winter.
